Designing multimedia content that helps employees feel better, think clearer, and thrive

At OpenUp, I had the opportunity to shape our approach to digital learning as the E-learning Content Specialist. My goal? Create meaningful, engaging, and accessible content to support mental well-being in the workplace — one video, infographic, and meditation at a time.

Step 1: Understanding What People Really Needed

Before writing a single word, I took time to listen. I spoke with our B2B clients and internal stakeholders to understand the mental health challenges their teams were facing — from stress and burnout to focus and self-confidence.

Step 2: Turning Insights Into Scripts

With that understanding, I began writing scripts for our animated learning videos. These weren’t just explainer videos — they were mini learning journeys, carefully crafted to deliver complex topics in a friendly, digestible, and relatable way.

Step 3: Visualizing the Story

I collaborated closely with our design and animation teams to bring each script to life. We created clear, calming visuals and infographics that supported the learning goals and made the experience more memorable and accessible — even during a busy workday.

Step 4: Learning as We Go

We worked in a continuous feedback loop — sharing early drafts, collecting input from users and stakeholders, and refining as we went. This agile approach helped us stay responsive, relevant, and always improving.

Why It Mattered

By the end of the project, we had built a growing library of multimedia learning content — from animated videos to guided meditations — that employees could turn to anytime, anywhere.

It felt incredibly rewarding to know that our content was helping people pause, reflect, and care for their mental well-being in a fast-paced world.
